Bremsstrahlung

In my Quantum Mechanics class we are getting (having) to learn about the Method of Partial Waves. Our professor introduced it by saying that many people consider this topic complicated, tedious, and unenlightening. Now that's the way to get the students excited about the material. Also, our homework assignment (for over spring break, of course) includes something like 6 pages of numerical tables.
