A Firefox 3 Gripe
Why on earth should a single click in the address bar select the entire field? This behavior only makes sense if I'm likely to replace all of the text in the field. But, I almost never do that in a web browser. If I want to go to a totally different site, I probably have a bookmark or something1. If I'm clicking in the address bar, it's because I want to edit the address, not replace it. I can still double click to select a word from the URL, or click and drag to select a portion of my choosing, but I usually prefer to click in one spot and use the arrow keys with the ⌘ or ⌥ keys to select the range I want, since this lets me use the keyboard more and the mouse less.

In fact, if that's the case, then I don't even use the browser's UI to open the bookmark, but rather Quicksilver instead. ↩
